12. Bombastic Numbers
In the Magazine “Informatia” published
in Carmiel, I. Schaier, the chief editor of the Publication , signes an
article that critizes the tendency of presenting inexact data regarding the
people born in Romania . Some leaders of the HOR Organisation maintain that
there are in Israel 400.000 Romanian born. Or , specifies the author of the
article , in the Statistical Year Book of Israel in 1995 it is showen that on
December 31-1994 – there lived in Israel 137.500 Romanian born people. In
Carmiel , I. Schaier writes , there lived once 4000 Immigrants from Romania
while nowadays there live about 1800 , but only 300 “have home-sicknesses and
the nostalgies of the Romanian language and take part in the HOR activities”.
Most of the people born in Romania , it’s showen in the article , have
perfectly joined the Israeli Societaty and have no connection with HOR or with
other Organisations of ours...”The article is entitled “Let’s be realistic”.

The Senator Corneliu Vadim Tudor , the President
of Romania Mare Party and the Director of the Anti-Semitic Magazine “Romania
Mare”, won’t belong anymore to the Parliamentary delegation invited to visit
the Philipines, Japain and South Korea. A decision like this was taken by
Nicolae Vacaroiu , the President of the Senate, the leader of the delegation –at
the parliamentary group’s request of the Liberal National
Party of the Democratic Party and of the
Democratic Union of the Hungarians in Romania.
After Corneliu Vadim Tudor had been nominated by
PRM as a member of the Delegation, the three parliamentary groups announced
that they would boycott the tour if Vadim were the member of the Delegation .
In a letter addressed the President of the Senate , the three parliamentary
groups stated that the Senator Vadim Tudor’s atttitude wasn’t able to confer him
the appropriate moral profile so that he could belong to a Delegation which
represented the Senate. The magazine “Romania Mare”, directed by the Senator ,
has been promoting an anti-Jewish politic for about ten years.(AR Press Agents)
