An appeal concerning
the next generation of activists

The issue of preserving the activity of the B.J.W.U (Bukovina Jews World Union) was raised during a meeting, held recently, in the office of the B.J.W.U in Tel-Aviv. As is known, the B.J.W.U serves as the single address where the survivors of the Bukuvinian Jews can find support to their singular problems, be informed by, and communicate through - the
"Die Stimme" periodical. Despite the blessed activity of the present group of veterans, reality must be faced, and it must be understood, that their ability to carry on with the present level of dedication is time-limited. Therefore it was decided to turn to those people, that attach importance to the activity of B.J.W.U, and have interest in the preservation of the Jewish "Bukovinian" legacy - to join, and take part as activists. This change of generations is intended to facilitate the proper continuation of activity of the B.J.W.U. in all its range of functions.
