Well - I'm glad to see a new connection for researching Bukovina Jews. My genealogy is focussed on towns now known as Vashkivtsi and Vizhnitsa - Chernivskaya - Ukraine. I'd like to find out if their was once a Vashkovitz Landsmanshaft/Burial Society in Israel- and which Cemetery/ies the members were buried at (possibly the Ashkenazi Cemetery in Haifa?). I've compiled most of the names and dates of people buried in three different cemeteries in New York - who were members of the First Waschkoutz Sick and Benevolent Society- Inc.
