born in Czernowitz. I was 5 years old when we were taken to Transnistria. My
fathers name was Herman Engelberg born in Zastawna, my mothers maiden
name was Rosa Kinsbruner, born in Czernowitz. I live in Rishon Le ZION.

I am seeking information about decendants of Benjamin Koller from
Keshteshte near Czerowitz who was
killed by the Iron Guard. He had a son Itzhik Meir Koller and a daughter
Rochel who emigrated to Israel
after the war. Rochel had a daughter Merta Lipshitz who lived in Haifa.

My name is Aaron Max. My late Grandfather,
Martin Sommer, lived in
the
Bukovina. I was wondering if u knew what chasidic groups were in the
following towns. Czernowitz, Zastawna, Kimpolung.
I would like to find out as much as possible. His fathers name was Sigmund
Sommer. Sigmund and his wife moved to Israel in the 1950's i think. Sigmund
passed away around the time of the 6 day war.
